Almost three years after Ellen Ingram played chicken with me and my motorcycle, my doctors have decided that I need surgery. Actually, I need three surgeries. Later this month I will have the metal removed from my leg. During this process, they will also scope my knee to determine if I will need a second surgery, which is much more severe.
If needed, the second surgery will follow later this year. It will entail cutting a pie shaped piece of the shin bone, in order to drop down the inside part of the joint. This surgery would leave me on crutches for months, but would hopefully solve the majority of my issues, and help stop issues from arising at a later date.
It would have been nice if Liz Borg had followed up with her promises of winning the lawsuit so that I could help cover some of the upcoming medical bills. Unfortunately, I just finished paying off the bills from the last surgery.
