So the so called hurricane Ophelia was downgraded to a tropical storm at 11am today. Katie and I were getting worried that we might actually have to experience a hurricane, and with hurricane Katrina still on everybody's mind it didn't make it any better.
I finally ordered some stuff for the Jeep. I got an overhead console unit, not sure who makes it, but once I get it I will put more information up. Also won a 11,000 lbs. tow rope on ebay.
The fishtank light conversion from bulb to LED didn't go so well. I think I might have flunked my electricity quiz. I tried wiring up to series of 5 bulbs or 2 different colors. The positive ran through 2 different switches and the negative was linked on both series. I think this is where the problem occurred. I spent 5 hours soldering it all together, just to have them burn up. I will post pictures tomorrow, and will get it all soldered back together this weekend.
