McKinney Should've Been a Clown

Today is a day that I thank the powers that be that I am not a Georgian. I thank the powers that be that my fellow North Carolina citizens didn't elect a lady to (mis)represent me in the federal government by trying to pass laws like HR 3998 - African-American Farmer Relief and Anti-Discrimination Act, HR 4209 - To Temporarily Deny Federal assistance to the City of Gretna Police or HR 4210 - Tupac Amaru Shakur Records Collection Act.

Representative McKinney made national news on March 29, 2006 after she assaulted a Capitol Police officer that was attempting to stop her from entering a federal building. Her and her lawyer's statements have tried to paint this incident as racially modivated. And they are 100%, completely true. A black(and I use black because she repeatedly calls herself black), female decided that because of the color of her skin, she should not be required to navigate security checkpoints like others. Racial Discrimination is defined as "discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of another race." She sure fits that bill, since she was abusive towards a white police officer for trying to do his job and protect our politicians.

I am now going to take a look at McKinney's statement on her website about the assault.

"I was urgently trying to get to an important meeting on time to fulfill my obligations to my constituents." That's good. All meetings are generally important when they involve decided the federal laws that govern this nation. I'm also glad you were headed to a meeting that involved representing your "constituents" since that is your job and you should be doing it everyday. In addition to this, I would like to point out that if you are not able to manage your time well enough to ensure that you are not running behind to the point that you have to ignore three requests by a police officer to stop then you should probably not be a member of our congress. I would also recommend buying a small PDA that will allow you to keep track of your appointments and what time it is. This way you won't be in such a hurry all the time.

Now I will rewrite her statement, since she didn't seem to have the ability to do it correctly. She probably wrote it in a hurry, or to please one of her "constituents"

Statement of Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney
on Capitol Hill Incident

March 29, 2006

(Washington, DC) - To the Members of the Capitol Hill Police:
Earlier today I assaulted a police officer in a federal building. I would like to start by saying that I am sorry for not obeying the law, going through security checkpoints like everyone else, and racial discriminating against that officer. I was in a hurry do to my inability to manage time wisely and did not understand how to comply with lawful orders from a police officer.

I would like to thank that officer for stopping me and not resorting to using deadly force to perform his assigned duties. I should have been wearing my congressional pin, which I wasn't.

I understand that I have broken the law and will cooperate with law enforcement in their investigation into this matter.

My title refers to this picture. Check out the her lunacy here.
