Ron Paul has to be one of the most courageous and honest politicians that has ever served in Congress.

Mr. Speaker, we should understand that decimating the protections that our Constitution provides us against the government is far more dangerous to the future of this country than whatever external threats may exist. We can protect this country without violating the Constitution and I urge my colleagues to reconsider their support for this measure.

I aggree. I was a bit disappointed that he met with the other "outside" canidates recently and did not directly endorse Bob Barr. While I would have rather had Dr. Paul as the NLP nominee, I will vote for Mr. Barr this November. Better that then choosing one of the "lesser of two evils"
